UTAR Kampar trains graduates in building construction. Part of their training is studying dilapidated buildings and devising scientific methods of repair and restoration. Give these young people a go. Owners and contractors must take the option to maintain our shared heritage. Demolition of eye-sores is superficial. The problem is irresponsible ownership.

I have always upheld this simple moral principle; the truth must be told. It is wrong to suppress the truth. Totally IPOH ECHO is on the right track. I am confident that if everyone adhere to the simple truth, most short comings like Polo Ground, Ipoh Padang, heritage buildings, pavements, and etc etc could be solved.
