ipoh echo issue 142, Sunway College IpohWhat a fun morning it was when students from Sunway College Ipoh got together at the YMCA field recently, to participate in a friendly telematch against members of IpohBUG, a local sports club. It was organised by students from the college’s School of Business and Marketing.

The objective of the telematch was to create an outdoor activity for students of the faculty; to take them away from their books for just one morning. According to the President of the Business and Marketing Club, Clement Heng, they planned on holding an outdoor sporting activity once a month, where youth games would be played, including basketball and football.

It was an opportunity to foster new friendship among the youngsters. Everyone enjoyed themselves, playing games such as “sweet picking”, “plug-the-holes”, seven-a-side Frisbee and three-legged football.

Food hampers were later presented to the two teams, as a token of fellowship since there was no winner or loser.
