The Fortissimo East Meets West Concert featuring Juwita Suwito & Friends (2 & 3 May 2014)

15 musicians and 6 vocalists came together from Kota Kinabalu, Kota Belud, Keningau, Tambunan and Ranau for 4 retreats in a span of 18 months with more than 12 mentors. Led by award-winning singer-songwriter Juwita Suwito and musician / social entrepreneur Wagner Daniel, this group, fondly known as the Fortissimians, are embarking on their inaugural East Meets West Tour on 1-4 May 2014. Their first stop: Ipoh, Perak! They will be joined by Melvin Goh on keys, Elliott Koon on drums and Terry Yeow (Altered Frequency) on guitars.

East Meets West at “Faces of Ipoh”

Chill out with Juwita Suwito in two acoustic sets amidst “Faces of Ipoh” with Melvin Goh on keys, Elliott Koon on drums and Bernedek Suni on bass with debut appearances by Roy Dinsim and Dulimah Yanggit.

Faces of Ipoh is a photography exhibition by Sepaloh Art Centre which runs from 27 April to 25 May 2014.

The East Meets West Tour is organised by Four Forty Records and will continue to the Klang Valley on 3-8 June and Kuching on 26-28 September 2014.
