August marks the official re-launching of Ipoh Parade’s new look upon completion of its modernisation process. It is set to deliver a wholesome yet new retail experience to Ipohites.
The upcoming carnival, themed “Festival of Lights”, will showcase a list of interactive and delightful activities. Among them will be game booths, LED lion and dragon dances, magic shows, live concerts and many more.
According to Ipoh Parade’s Centre Manager, Chan Yu Yin, the re-launch is not aimed at reintroducing Ipoh Parade, per se. It is to celebrate the changes and the hard work put into preparing the facelift. Rest assured, the new-look Ipoh Parade will be an enjoyable experience for its customers.
“Ipoh Parade is delighted to welcome the public to the carnival. We’ll be having a number of activities beginning with the launching on Friday, August 8. Considered as one of the biggest of its kind in the city, the festivity is set to break new grounds,” said Chan to Ipoh Echo.
Ipoh Parade’s Festival of Lights begins on Friday, August 8 and ends on Sunday, August 17.
Refurbishment of Ipoh Parade began in March 2013. It has transformed the mundane shopping mall into a modern and sophisticated facility for all ages. Seeing is believing.
