Those who are celebrating the Lunar New Year, but would like to experience a change from the usual course dinner, may do so at Symphony Suites Hotel’s Symphony Café.
Serving a scrumptious buffet steamboat for dinner for five consecutive nights from the eve of Chinese New Year (Feb 18) onwards from 6.30pm, diners will also get to enjoy a generous buffet spread of pre-cooked dishes.
This two-in-one dinner is priced at RM38.80 nett per person. For bookings of ten pax, the eleventh person dines for free.
On the buffet line for the steamboat, which comes with two soup bases, will be more than a hundred items. These items are available on a rotational basis, meaning that there will not be two nights with the same menu served.
As for the pre-cooked spread, there will be at least eight dishes per night, including chicken curry, fried chicken, grilled lamb and stir-fried vegetables, just to name a few. These courses are also rotated nightly.
Diners who wish to stick to the tradition of tossing yee sang in hopes for a better year ahead may place a separate order for it. Yee sang servings are priced at RM15 (small), RM25 (medium) and RM35 (large).
As for love birds who are still wondering where to dine on Valentine’s Day, look no further than Symphony Suites Hotel. With romantic love songs playing in the background, this will set the mood for a memorable evening.
Priced at RM288 per couple, this candlelight Western set dinner begins with a starter of pan-seared scallop and a cream of wild mushroom soup.
Diners have the option to select from a choice of three main courses:
Seared Norwegian salmon, Tasmanian chicken roulade with BBQ glaze or signature honey lamb chop.
Wrapping up the meal with dessert is a triple combination of cut fruits, sorbet and ice cream.
Each couple will receive a mystery gift and a complimentary bottle of white or red wine.
A second Valentine’s package is also available, priced at RM488 for two. Couples who opt for this package will enjoy all of the above, plus a 2D/1N stay at the hotel’s Executive Suite.
