Sultan Nazrin Shah Crowned as the 35th Sultan of Perak Darul Ridzuan
Sultan Nazrin Muizzudin Shah Ibni Almarhum SultanAzlan Muhibbudin Shah Al-Maghfur was enthroned as the 35th Sultan Perak Darul Ridzuan today at Seri Istana Iskandariah in Bukit Chandan, Kuala Kangsar, Perak.
The inauguration began after the arrival of Duli Yang Maha Mulia (DYMM) His Royal Highness (HRH) Seri Sultan Perak and DYMM Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim, followed by recitation of the Holy Al-Quran.
Soon afterward, His Royal Highness kissed Pedang Cura SiManja Kini and the coronation continued with Toh Seri Nara Diraja presenting Mustika Embun and Chap Halilintar alongside with a whisper about ‘Rahsia Nisab Sultani’ to Sultan Nazrin Shah.
YAB Orang Kaya Bandahari Seri Maharaja read the official letter for Sultan Nazrin Shah’s coronation followed by announcing the salutation title for DYMM Permaisuri Perak.
During the event, DYTM Raja Muda Perak and Dato Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, Perak’s State minister presented themselves and congratulate the newly crowned sultan.
The modest affair ended with grace and a speech by DYMM Paduka Seri Sultan Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzudin Shah.
