Hua Yang Berhad (Hua Yang or the Group), a leading property developer in the affordable housing market, launched the first phase of its Seri Andaman homes.
Pn Hajah Rohani binti Omar, Deputy Director General of the National Housing Department was present to officiate the launch, which also marked the Group’s first property offerings under the Government’s MyHome Scheme, an initiative to help Malaysians own their first home. To qualify for MyHome Scheme, interested buyers must fulfil certain criteria set by the Ministry of Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government.
Seri Andaman is located within the dynamic and fast-growing Bandar Universiti Seri Iskandar (BUSI), which is the Group’s premier 777-acre township in Perak. The first phase of Seri Andaman consists of 186 units of 22’ x 65’ single storey terrace homes with a built-up area of 850 sq ft (square feet). Each unit comes with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which are ideal for small and mid-sized families.
The price per unit of these leasehold units range from RM180,000 to RM200,000. From the 186 units, 56 units are Bumiputera lots while 130 units are non-Bumiputera lots. There is also an additional 5% discount for Bumiputera lots.
Seri Andaman homes are also conveniently located close to a myriad of urban amenities. These include a drive-through restaurant, a police station, a wet market, a bus station terminal as well as schools, banks and government facilities. TESCO Superstore and an upcoming Mydin hypermarket are also in close proximity to the development.
