Perak Matta Fair
The low currency and economy did not seem to stop Ipohites from visiting the much awaited travel fair of the year, the Perak Matta Fair 2016 held at Ipoh Parade from March 11 to 13. The crowd went wild as the fair offered cheaper and valuable holiday packages to feed travel junkies.
During the official launch of the fest on March 11, Tourism Malaysia took the opportunity to promote Perak’s latest packages that focused on Perak’s Agro sectors. State exco for tourism, culture, arts, communications and multimedia, Dato’ Nolee Ashilin Dato Mohammed Radzi was present to officiate the affair.
“The Perak Agro Tourism package is one of the our efforts to invite more visitors, both domestic and international to visit Perak,” said Nolee in her speech.
Perak Matta Fair this year saw over 20 companies and travel agencies such as Fulham Tours Sdn Bhd, Keris Travel & Tour Sdn Bhd and Parlo Tours Sdn Bhd, offering special holiday packages to interesting and famous destinations such as Japan, Korea, Australia and many more.
