I wish to refer to Ipoh Echo’s article titled, “Potential of Gunung Lang Not Tapped” in the “My Say” column written by Jerry Francis (Issue 232 – April 1 to 15, 2016, pg 15).
Ipoh City Council is in the process of upgrading the entire Gunung Lang Recreational Park in stages. The upgrading works cover the whole area of the park encompassing the entrance, ticket counters, the jetty, kiosks, the prayer room, toilets, cafeteria, landscaping and others based on the allocated budget.
The Council plans on adding additional activities to make the park more appealing to both local and foreign visitors.
Once the upgrading works are done, I am certain Gunung Lang Recreational Park will be as good as ever.
