Farewell Dinner for Student Volunteer
It was a memorable evening on June 19 when the Rotary Club of Greentown hosted and organised a farewell to Miss Nida-Nehri Cimcir, a student volunteer from Germany who was attached to the Perak Society for the Promotion of Mental Health for the past one year, at Ipoh Swimming Club.
The event started at 8pm. Rotary President Joe and First Lady Thilaga and President of the Perak Society for the Promotion of Mental Health Dato’ Dr M. Majumder, committee members and staff were present for this dinner. The emcee for the night was Dato’ Dr Ratti who welcomed all Rotarians and guests. This was followed by the chairman, Dr Ravi’s address. Nida was called to share her experiences working with the psychosocially disabled persons for the past one year. This was followed by a presentation of a souvenir to her. This event was organised by Past President Nagalingam and the event concluded with dinner and a photography session.
