Students of Fantastic Pastry Academy and Culinary Institute, Ipoh grabbed attention at the Penang International Convention Exhibition Centre 2016: Asian Food Festival Conference when they successfully won 2 gold, 10 silver, 6 bronze 2 diploma in the 16th Battle of The Chef Competition (BOTC 2016) recently.
This was the second time Fantastic had sent its students across state to participate in such a competition. Not only did they win medals, it gave the students a chance to learn from others and gain live experience. Aside from the 20 students and a teacher, Tan Kok Han who entered the challenge, over 70 students had the best time of their lives learning new tricks in the culinary world and developing fresh perspectives and current trends of the market.
Established since 2009, Fantastic Pastry Academy and Culinary Institute teaches students whose passion is in baking and cooking. The institute educates the students in both practical and theory while giving them a view of the latest trends in the industry.
