Perak Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCCI) held an Executive committee meeting on May 13. The committee wishes to convey the following:
PCCCI wishes to congratulate Pakatan Harapan for the success in the recently completed GE14. This is an important change for our country and we will work alongside with the new government under the new leadership of Menteri Besar Perak and his team.
PCCCI is looking forward to have a more business-friendly government whereby the implementation of government policies be simplified. Over the past few years, the business community has been challenged with various regulatory burdens, thereby creating opportunities for corrupt practices. We therefore hoped to have a close relationship and better engagement on the implementation of regulations.
We welcome the appointment of the Finance Minister, Defence Minister and the Home Affairs Minister. We hope that the new government will bring in the economic reforms and stabilize the economy.
PCCCI is pleased to note the appointment of the Team of Eminent Persons (TEP). We congratulated all the appointed panel members. It is indeed an honour to serve the country with their vast experience and expertise in the various fields. With their knowledge and networking, we have full confidence that they will bring benefits to our country.
