Unveiled in July, The Porch is the latest addition in town for your next tipple and bistro dining to toast the setting sun.
The urban hideaway features a LED-lit bar and open ceiling dotted with filament light bulbs to ease one into total unwind mode with its warm glow.
The relaxed seating inside fits about 100 while the street facing outdoor terrace seats over 60.
As the resident DJ mixes the finest tunes of R&B and House music, head for the full bar with extensive drinks menu and amazing happy hour specials from 4pm to 9pm. Then, stay on for a hearty dinner served by its amiable staff in the cozy space. From appetizer, main course, tapas to dessert, there is something for every palate as the dishes are done fusion-style.
Head Chef Kyle Lim Chin Kai, 35, has vast experience in both Asian and Western cuisine. Having worked at Petaling Jaya (Hanazen Japanese Restaurant and Brussels Beer Cafe), Ipoh (Berlin’s Bier Houz and Movida Kitchen + Terrace) and once his own business at Cameron Highland, he has multiple signature dishes to his name.
Patrons are in for a treat as The Porch is currently brimming with promotions.
For the month of August, the Porch chef choice combo pairs a main course with either a 300ml Xtra Cool Mug Carlsberg or chilled juice. The pairings are priced at RM45++ for lamb shank, RM33++ for cordon bleu chicken, RM30++ for Hawaiian pizza and RM30++ for Thai duck pasta.
Every Tuesday is family day as kids eat for free with purchase of two main courses.
On Friday and Saturday, the mix and match promo enables one to pick two bottles of liquor at a special rate. For instance, Jack Daniels and Absolut Vodka at RM450++, Macallan (12 years) and Glenlivet (12 years) at RM730++, Hennessy (VSOP) and Gold Label (Reverse) at RM680++, Singleton (12 years) and JW Black Label (12 years) at RM600++ and two Singleton (12 years) at RM600++.
Cheer up your Thursdays at the Ladies Night in which groups of five ladies get a bottle of red wine free. For every set of tray shot (six shots of tequila, vodka or jager), ladies get another set on the house too.

Non-beer drinkers will be well looked after with a range of sparkling juices, soft drinks, fresh juice and chilled juice. All food and drinks are subjected to 10% service charge. Official opening date for The Porch falls on 31 Aug 2018. There will be classic car show, live band and guest DJs in the event.
