RHB Bank Berhad opened its 20th branch in Perak at Ipoh’s new commercial centre, SOHO Ipoh along Jalan Sultan Iskandar Shah on Monday, March 11.
The office was previously located at Jalan Tun Sambanthan. The relocation is done to facilitate an expanding business.
Present to officiate the opening ceremony was Dato’ Khairussaleh Ramli, Group Managing Director RHB Banking Group. He was accompanied by Mohd Rawi Idrus, Regional Director of Perak Region RHB Banking Group, Eddie Liew, Manager of SOHO Ipoh branch and his staff.
According to Dato’ Khairussaleh, the opening of the branch at SOHO Ipoh demonstrated the bank’s continuing commitment as a partner in the economic and financial development of Ipoh. “We have a total of seven branches in Ipoh. This particular branch serves over 17,000 customers from the banking industry, consumer services and corporations,” he added.
The new one-stop centre has its banking operations on the ground floor, the Premier Centre on the first floor and the RHB Investments Bank, which offers a variety of banking products, on the second floor.
