Ipoh Parade has expressed its gratitude to the Perak Fire and Rescue Department and Ipoh City Council (MBI) for their disinfection exercise conducted at the mall to curb the spread of Covid-19. The exercise, which was carried out on Tuesday, March 31, covered the mall’s common areas and parking lots.
“While the mall has stepped up its safety measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19, we are especially grateful to the Perak Fire and Rescue Department for carrying out the disinfection exercise at our premises and also MBI for its assistance in ensuring that the operation was executed smoothly,” said Ipoh Parade’s Operations Manager, Mr A. Navamani.
Earlier, the department’s director Azmi Osman announced that in addition to the red zone areas such as Hilir Perak and Kinta, the disinfection exercise would also cover places with huge crowds that might carry the potential of spreading the virus.
