My appointment in GH was at 8am and I decided to park my car in Greentown Clinic and take the shuttle van. The security guard informed me that the service only starts at 8am. I had to walk to the hospital.
This is the first time I was using the pedestrian walkway. Walking along this path is like taking part in an obstacle race. The tiles are jutting up in many places causing a tripping hazard. Tiles are missing and there are potholes. The roots of trees run across the path and pedestrians have to walk on the roots. There are other obstacles along the route. This walkway has been there for many years. The situation would have been like this for a long time.
I noticed elderly people and children, mostly patients, using the path. This is not safe. This path should be made safe. We should not wait for something nasty to happen before taking action. I wonder why no one has complained.
