The Director-General of Health, Dato’ Seri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, received the BrandLaureate Awards’ Outstanding Brand Leadership Award 2020 from The World Brands Foundation (TWBF) for his commitment in handling the COVID-19 crisis.
The Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia was also presented with the BrandLaureate Certificate of Recognition and Appreciation.
“On behalf of frontliners and those who worked hard behind the scenes, I wish to convey our heartfelt gratitude to TWBF for the recognition,” he expressed.
“Both of these awards reflect the dedication, commitment, sacrifice and resilience of every individual in the ministry, and various agencies in providing the best healthcare service for the rakyat and the nation,” Noor Hisham stated on his Facebook page today.
He also thanked the nationwide public for their patience and cooperation with frontliners and relevant authorities during these trying times.
“Let’s continue the effort in fighting against the invisible enemy, COVID-19,” Noor Hisham noted.
