On Sunday, August 2, seven members representing the Liverpool supporters group known as The Ipoh Kop End visited the Salvation Army orphans’ home along Jalan Kampar.
The purpose of the visit was to donate boxes of face masks for the use of the children that live at the centre and the Boys’ home along Jalan Tambun, to ensure they have clean masks everyday when they attend schools and not reuse disposable ones.
The group also donated new and pre-loved soft toys for those staying at the said home. Its supervisor, Nigel Jones, welcomed and thanked The Ipoh Kop End group for their support and help.
Nigel, a Tottenham Hotspur Football Club fan, also took the opportunity to congratulate the Liverpool Football Club for their success in lifting the Premier League trophy this year.
As SOP had to be observed, members left the premises by 3.20pm after a brief photography session.
