Ipoh City Council (MBI) is offering a 30 to 50 percent discount on parking compounds in conjunction with the 63rd Independence Day (Merdeka celebration).
The good news was announced by the mayor of Ipoh, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin on August 10.
The deduction of compound will be done automatically at the MBI payment counter based on several terms and conditions:
- For the 50 percent discount, payment has to be made within seven days after the compound is issued.
- Compounds have to be settled within 15 days. As for payment made after the seventh day, a 40 percent discount will be given.
- Meanwhile, a 30 percent discount will be given if payment is made within 30 days and 15 days after the compound is issued.
Deduction for payments after 30 days can be appealed at the State Legal Adviser’s Office at the second floor of the Ipoh City Council, Jalan Sultan Abdul Jalil, Ipoh.
