2020 PSPA Short Film Competition: “Iklim & Kita”
Calling for submissions!
The year 2020 has indeed been a game-changer for many where we are restrained and curtailed by mobility and physical contact. Unfortunately, such limitations have hit PSPA hard in its activities where earlier planned events and activities had to be cancelled or cut down.
Nevertheless, we should not be discouraged and as a vibrant organisation, we should review, move along, transform and adapt accordingly. The team has now decided to take on additional directions by embracing digitisation and expand into the filmmaking industry.
So, PSPA is now proud to announce the inaugural PSPA Short Film Competition and invite all filmmakers to participate in this competition.
The theme for this year’s competition is “Iklim & Kita” or “Climate Change & Us!” There are some simple rules and regulations for the competition and you can find them in the attached documents as well as the registration and declaration forms here.
The closing date for the competition will be 31 October 2020 and the prize presentation will be in December (exact date will be announced later) in conjunction with our filmmaking workshop. They will showcase the winning short films as well.

Take this opportunity to showcase your ideas to the public; PSPA aims to provide a platform for the encouraged.
Please feel free to write to them – via FB messenger, email at pspaipoh@gmail.com or call the PSPA office +605 545 0350 should you need any further clarification and explanation with regards to the short film competition.
Happy shooting and PSPA looks forward to receiving your entries!
