Some 130 Ipohites voiced out against the execution of the light and sound project at Ipoh Padang.

“As if the fact that relevant authorities didn’t display any statement boards detailing the ongoing project isn’t disappointing enough, no official statements were released to explain what is being altered at the field from the project.
“This poses a big question mark for the public which leads to negative connotations towards the project,” Roslan added.
Meanwhile, a memorandum objecting to the construction has been handed to the Perak Menteri Besar’s special officer, Mohd Jaffrey Mohd Zainol at the entrance of the State Secretariat Building, and the mayor of Ipoh, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin at the Ipoh City Council (MBI) building.
