In accordance with decision from His Excellency Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Perak Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu urged the public to stay united in assisting the government and authorities to stop the infection chain of COVID-19 by abandoning all differences and quarrels, especially those pertaining to politics.
“The state assembly of Perak viewed His Excellency to have taken the public’s needs into consideration and prioritised the interests of all parties,” he said at the second sitting of the 14th Perak State Assembly in its third year, at the state secretariat building here today (October 27).
“He trusted the government’s capabilities under the current Prime Minister’s administration to implement and enforce policies to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.
“We also respect the command of HRH Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, regarding the importance of balanced effort between stopping the infection chain of the deadly virus and preventing economic emergency which will be a difficult recovery,” Faizal added.
