I have seen many articles helping out local business and highlighting how they are affected by CMCO. Recently in Penang, they have vouchers with discounts for locals (some up to 50% off for dine-in and take-out food). In Ipoh there’s nothing like this… if local businesses give discounts to Ipoh residents I’m sure they will be supported. Otherwise, pricing in Ipoh (especially in town) is high even for tourists. I am a British Citizen retired in Ipoh with my Malaysian Chinese wife. This is just a suggestion that local businesses may want to consider.
