Set to be the first eatery in Ipoh with its own in-house florist, The Story Eatery Marketplace Ipoh opened its doors on December 12 along Jalan Horley, offering an insta-worthy spot to chill.
Upon entrance, one is greeted by its floral section brimming with multi-hued bouquets and single stalks for all occasions—available for sale or preorder. With green-centric decorations of potted plants to complement its chic black-and-white interior, the dining zone features plenty of glass windows to let in natural light.
“We started off with the first branch in Kampar along Jalan Timah which was established 3 years ago. The Kampar branch is an eatery with a merchandise section selling clothes among others, also designed by The Story. Thus for the Ipoh branch, we introduced a new element which is a florist section selling fresh flowers and dried flowers,” florist Lyndal Lim explained to Ipoh Echo. Flower workshops would be conducted in the space too.
“Our visitors enjoy the pretty dining environment and good food here,” the Kampar girl added.
With a maximum customer capacity of 26 diners, the corner lot is located at 19, Ground Floor, Jalan Horley, 30300 Ipoh. It is non-halal.
To close every Monday, its operating hours start from 12pm till 6pm from Tuesday till Saturday and 1pm till 7pm on Sunday. The festive season will see extended business hours. To learn more, visit its Facebook or Instagram page. The cafe also accepts advance booking for private events.
