Christmas came early for 23 young children ranging from one to 18-year-olds.
This year, the Rotary Club of Ipoh South (KRIS) celebrated Early Christmas Cheers on December 22, with less fortunate children from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Anak Yatim Gembala Ipoh.
The main objective of this event was to let the orphans have a chance in enjoying the festive season like other children and also to create joy and memories for them.
KRIS arranged enjoyable and engaging mini games for the children. They were jumping for joy when they saw AG Kamarul dressed up as Santa Claus. The children revelled and sang along with Santa. They were also treated to Mcdonald’s breakfast meals, stationery, pre-loved toys and cupcakes.
It was a memorable day, filled with joyful faces.
KRIS maintains that we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give and that happiness is not so much in having as in sharing.
With much joy, KRIS also thanked all the people for their kindness and generosity in making cash donations to make this event possible.
