Festive Treats for a Good Cause: Let’s Deliver a Ray of Hope!

This Chinese New Year, foodies are in for a delicious treat as the Ray Of Hope Cafe in Bercham rolls out various festive dishes and biscuits for self pick-up—all for a good cause!

Featuring high quality ingredients and vacuum packed for easy storage and reheating, the dinner menu items include Smoked Whole ‘Wu Sou’ Chicken (RM48), Dried Oyster, Premium Mushroom ‘Phoenix’ Claw (RM33) and Lotus Leaf Dried Scallop, Chicken Glutinous Rice (RM33).

One can also opt for the whole set at only RM118 with pineapple tarts added on as a bonus. Do take note that there is a limited availability so do not miss out!

Equally exciting is its collection of assorted cookies with reasonable price tags ranging from just RM15 to RM25 per canister –  a yearly bestseller. From spring roll seaweed crisps, pineapple tarts, green pea cookies, plain shortbread, salted egg cookies, biscotti to chocolate almond cookies—you name it! For those who fancy jam, there is lemon curd at RM10 per container. Gift packs are also offered, perfect to mark the celebration safely or simply to deliver a ray of hope.

All products are halal and are created with much love by individuals with learning disabilities.

Ray Of Hope Cafe is presently open for self pick-up only from 9am till 5pm from Monday till Saturday. It is located at 26, Persiaran Bercham Selatan 31, Taman Sri Kurau, Bercham, 31400 Ipoh. Interested readers can call 016-4457323 or 05-5488796 to place an order.

Ray Of Hope is a non-profit, non-religious multiracial centre set up with the sole objective of giving hope to people with learning difficulties. Offering sheltered training to individuals with learning disabilities, its learning centre, which is also in Bercham, currently has a total of 12 trainees ranging from ages 19 to 28.
