Rotary Club of Ipoh South (KRIS) distributed packed foods, bottled drinks, oranges, face masks and angpow packets to the homeless people around Ipoh town on the evening of Chinese New Year on February 12.
There were touching moments when they got the opportunity to witness smiles on innocent faces. It also gave them a new way to experience the joy of giving.
The program was led by President Pathma Devi including PAG J.Henry, IPP Asokan , PP Ken and Pn Fagriban. KRIS certainly made the homeless and less fortunate sleep with their stomachs full that evening.
“No one has ever become poor by giving,” declared President Pathma as she thanked the whole team for their efforts.
