Below are the list of dates for opening of schools as stated by Senior Minister for Education, Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin via a media conference today (February 19):
- Primary schools:
– preschool / Standard 1 / Standard 2: 1 March 2021
– Standard 3 till Standard 6: 8 March 2021
- Secondary schools:
– Group A: 4 April 2021
– Group B: 5 April 2021
- Vocational colleges: 1 March 2021
- Private schools:
– primary schools: preschool / Standard 1 / Standard 2 (1 March 2021) and Standard 3 till Standard 6 (8 March 2021)
– secondary schools: Group A (4 April 2021) and Group B (5 April 2021)
- International schools and private education institutes: 8 March 2021
*Group A comprises Johor, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu while Group B comprises Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perak, Perlis, Pulau Pinang, Sabah, Sarawak, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Labuan and Putrajaya
