The emergency lane and the left lane between Bidor to Sungkai, Perak will be closed for 10 days starting yesterday (March 22) for road maintenance work.
PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) informed in a statement that the maintenance work is to improve safety and comfort for road users.
“The closure is to prevent accidents as well as to reduce road congestion during the process of maintenance work,” the statement explained.
According to the statement, road users are advised to plan their journeys in advance using the PLUS application via a closed circuit camera (CCTV) display to get the latest traffic information for the route.
In addition, road users may also seek assistance from PLUSRonda by pressing the SOS button on the app.
Road users are advised to abide by the traffic signboards and instructions by the PLUS staff when passing through the area.
