MyAduan MBI App for Ipohites’ Convenience and Comfort
Ipohites will soon be able to lodge complaints more easily with the new MyAduan MBI system application.
According to the Mayor of Ipoh, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin, MyAduan is a new initiative to upgrade the delivery system of complaints.
“Admittedly, Ipoh City Council (MBI) has received countless issues every year based on the statistics collected.
“Just last year, the council received 21,766 complaints, with 84.97 percent of the number solved. As of February this year, we’ve already received 3,046 with 51.77 percent out of them solved.
“This increasing trend of complaint reports concerns us. Thus, as a local authority (PBT), it’s MBI’s responsibility to ensure that these issues are solved with immediate action.”
He explained during a media session after signing three memorandums of understanding (MoU) at the MBI building earlier today (April 1).
Also present to witness the MoU signing session was the Executive Councillor for Housing, Local Government and Tourism, Dato’ Nolee Ashilin Mohamed Radzi.
MyAduan will be active starting April 30 and accessible 24 hours.
“The council will monitor the app’s effectiveness and obtain feedback from Ipohites for two weeks after the start of operations, where improvements will be implemented accordingly.
“Information and usage guidelines will be included for first-time users. However, citizens may still submit their complaints via our official website and social media pages at Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
“Hopefully, MyAduan facilitates usage convenience and comfort for Ipohites. I would also like to thank Ipohites for being the ears and eyes in assisting MBI to solve problems arising around town,” he expressed.
