MCO 3.0 is to be extended for another two weeks effective June 15 till 28. The decision is made in view of the total daily cases of COVID-19 which remain high, exceeding 5,000 cases a day.
Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Senior Minister (Security Cluster) explained that the matter was proposed by the Ministry of Health in a special meeting with the National Security Council chaired by the Prime Minister.
“The positive list, negative list and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for businesses and industries remain the same as announced previously,” he stated.
