Various forms of assistance have been channeled by the Parliament for Tambun at the three affected localities due to the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) implemented since June 6.
The three localities are Kampung Dato’ Ahmad Said Tambahan 2, Kampung Jelapang Baru and Kampung Sungai Tapah.
Member of Parliament for Tambun, Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu said that the volunteers carry out food delivery simultaneously at the three areas.
According to him, a total of 10,000 loaves of bread of various kinds were distributed to the needy.
Prior to this, basic food items such as rice, milk, coffee and eggs were distributed.
Disposable diapers among others were also presented to families who applied for aid.
Ahmad Faizal shared the matter via a post on his Facebook page yesterday (June 13).
He hopes that the presented aid could reduce the burden of the residents. He also hopes for a smooth delivery of aid throughout the pandemic.
