A fire broke out at a house in Kampung Ulu Kuang in Chemor, Perak earlier today (June 16).
According to a spokesperson for the Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), an emergency call regarding the situation was received at around 11.17am.
“A squad and a vehicle from the Ipoh Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) were rushed to the location right after.
“Upon arrival, the B-class house of 10×20 feet had already been consumed by fire, with damages having reached 50 percent.
“No victims were involved. Investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire,” he explained.
The operation which ended at around 1.26pm was led by Deputy Fire Superintendent (TPgB) Azman Hussin@Hasan and supervised by Senior Fire Superintendent II (PgKB II) Mohd Fahmi along with Assistant Fire Superintendent (PPgB) Mohd Solihin.
