A tree fell and crashed into two houses at Laluan Pengkalan Barat 8, Taman Puteri Lindungan Bulan in Ipoh earlier today (June 17).
A spokesperson for the Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) said that an emergency call regarding the situation was received at around 5.35pm.
“A squad and a vehicle from the Pasir Puteh Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) were rushed to the location immediately after.
“Staff from the Ipoh City Council (MBI) were also present.
“Upon arrival, it was found that the large tree had fallen and crashed into two A-class houses, which also involved a car parked in one of them.
“However, no victims were involved. The rescue team proceeded to cut down the fallen tree.
“The operation was subsequently fully handed over to MBI,” he explained.
The operation which ended at around 7.13pm was led by Senior Fire Officer II (PBK II) Yusma Yusof.
