The multiple lockdowns in Malaysia especially affect those in the B40 community and marginalized groups.
Dr Chakr Nagara of KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital, upon knowing that many of the poor have been left in dire straits, with some even driven to suicide, called up his colleagues and suggested to send a donation to Perak Women for Women Society (PWW), who distributes food packs to the needy. With his kind and compassionate appeal, many doctors and staff of the hospital came forward to chip in.
On the morning of July 7, PWW collected a sum of money to continue supporting the needy through basic food provisions.
PWW extends their utmost gratitude to Dr Chakr Nagara and the doctors at KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital for their kind and generous donation.
