A 53-year-old female citizen was found lying on the floor shivering at her residence in an apartment here at Taman Pakatan, Bercham, earlier today (August 9).
A spokesperson for the Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) said that an emergency call was received at around 8.28am.
“Upon the arrival of a squad and a vehicle from the Ipoh Fire and Rescue Station (BBP), the woman, Mariam Din, was found conscious whilst lying in the living room.
“It was believed that she experienced fever as a side effect after the first dose of COVID-19 inoculation.
“The squad used a bolt cutter to unlock the door and brought her down before she was handed over to health staff for further actions,” the spokesperson explained.
The operation which ended at around 9.30am was led by Senior Fire Officer II (PBK II) Mohd Rosli Ibrahim.
