Effective August 10, the following are the dine-in standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food premises within the administration area of the Ipoh City Council (MBI).
Owners of premises have to display at the entrance of business premises the total number of employees who have completed vaccination.
A capacity of 50% for each table must be ensured with physical distancing of at least one metre, subject to the SOP of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs.
Owners of premises need to ensure that table arrangement is in accordance with distancing and the premises have good ventilation.
It is mandatory for customers who wish to dine-in to have complete vaccination.
Although employees of premises do not need to possess complete vaccination, the Ipoh City Council urged all employees of food premises to get vaccinated.
The council also reminded all to keep practising the new norms and general health protocol. For instance, practise physical distancing of at least 1 metre radius at all times and scanning the QR code placed at every location of premises with the MySejahtera app. Hand sanitisers are to be placed at the entrance and ensure its usage before entry. It is mandatory for workers, suppliers and customers to put on face masks correctly following the recommendation of the Ministry of Health while at premises.
