Canning constituents who have yet to receive their vaccination appointments will benefit from the ‘Jenny Brings You to Get Vaccinated’ initiative.
According to state legislative assembly member (ADUN) in charge, Jenny Choy Tsi Jen, it targets residents aged 60 and above, as well as bedridden individuals.
“We’ve liaised with the coordinating officer of Stadium Indera Mulia vaccination centre (PPV) for this initiative.
“Our outreach team will go around residential areas under Canning constituency to obtain the information of individuals eligible for vaccination these few days.
“Their information will then be passed to the PPV for record keeping. After that, they only need to proceed to the centre with consent forms that we’ll prepare for them.
“Fear not, implementation of strict SOPs apply, such as physical distancing and use of the MySejahtera app. The van is also fully ventilated.”
She told reporters at the Canning ADUN and Ipoh Timor MP Community Centre here in Kampung Simee today (August 18).
“Through this initiative, we facilitate the process for individuals to get their shots as soon as possible.
“This is the least we can do to hasten the vaccination rate among the community here,” Jenny added.
Canning constituents who require this service may contact 014 950 5510 via WhatsApp for more information.
