UPDATE (Sept 6): We have received reports from people who visited the PPV today stating that walk-in vaccinations are only accepted for those aged 40 and above. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Starting today (September 5), the public can receive their vaccine jab without prior appointment at the Stadium Indera Mulia vaccination center (PPV).
This was officially announced in a statement issued by Perak Health Director, Dato’ Dr Ding Lay Ming, commenting on a message passed around on social media with the news. As of today there is no need for speculation.
“The Perak State Health Department has made the decision based on the existing vaccine availability and the current capacity of the Stadium Indera Mulia PPV.
“We will always be vigilant in ensuring that there is no congestion and overcrowding at the PPV.
“Nevertheless, the situation will depend on the total vaccine supply available,” she said.
