All hawkers, small traders and public market traders licensed with the Ipoh City Council (MBI) can now apply for the ‘One Off’ assistance amounting to RM300 for each license holder.
Ipoh Mayor, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin @ Md Daud said applications can be made via three methods:
- Online via https://d.mbi.gov.my/penjaja/?borang/ban_borangban
- In person at the drive-thru PPS counter every Thursday from 9am to 2pm at Persiaran ICC Bandaraya 2, Ipoh City Council (bring along a copy of IC and bank statement or bank book statement)
- Submit a copy of IC and bank statement or bank book statement via WhatsApp to 011-56769612.
‘This special assistance is intended to ease the burden of hawkers and small traders during the period of the Movement Control Order to curb the COVID-19.
“Therefore, all categories of hawkers, small traders and public market traders licensed with MBI are eligible to apply. They can submit their application along with the required documents from September 6.
