The Ministry of Education informed that the operation of educational institutions according to the terms of Phase 3 of the National Recovery Plan will begin on October 31 for Kedah and Kelantan, and on November 1 for Pulau Pinang, Perak and Sabah.
It is in line with the transition of the states from Phase 2 into Phase 3 effective October 18.
The states under Phase 3 will involve the attendance of preschool students, special needs students and students of the Integrated Special Education Program.
The Ministry prior to this decided that when a state transitions into the next phase, all the educational institutions at the state must operate according to the terms of the new phase after two weeks from the date of phase transition.
