The Ipoh City Council (MBI) is offering a discount of 70% to members of the public paying MBI traffic compounds beginning November 15 till December 31.
MBI informed via a statement that the compound reduction is provided under the MBI’s Road Transport Order (Allocation of Vehicle Parking Spot).
“The offer is aimed to reduce the burden of the people, especially Ipohites, in paying all compounds. Do make use of this golden opportunity well.
The offered discount is only applicable for offences related to not displaying coupons or parking outside of the box only. Meanwhile, other offences are subject to the existing discounts and procedures.
Payment can be made at MBI Payment Counters and MBI Drive-thru Counters at Greentown from Monday till Friday from 8.30am till 4.00pm while the MBI Payment Counter at the Urban Transformation Centre (UTC Perak) operates from Monday till Sunday from 8.00am till 5.00pm.
Payment can also be made online at MBI’s portal at www.mbi.gov.my and via the Park@Perak application.
To facilitate payment, compound discounts are applied automatically without any application.
