MetMalaysia: Weather Conditions in Northern States Expected to Improve

The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) predicts that the weather conditions in the northern states of Peninsular Malaysia will improve.

MetMalaysia informed via a statement that it is because the tropical depression around the area is displaying signs of weakening.

“The tropical depression around the northern Peninsular has weakened and rain is expected to disappear fully.

“The weather conditions at Perlis, Kedah, Pulau Pinang and northern Perak are expected to improve,” the statement mentioned. 

Thus, MetMalaysia has lifted the continuous rain warning which was issued for the states involved at 6.45am on December 21.
