Fast food restaurant, Marrybrown which has been popular since 1981, now expands with a new branch at Petron Chepor Indah 2.
Manager of Services, Franchise and Operations, Danny Tan said the new location is the 46th branch and four more branches will be opened in the state in the near future.
“This new location is ideal because it is surrounded by nearby housing areas and next to the Petron station which will surely be a hotspot.
“Our main aim is to provide facility and comfort directly to members of the public via the introduction of a family restaurant concept for one to chill and enjoy an attractive menu.
“Our operation time is from 10.00am till 10.00pm. However, it depends on the current situation as we are under the National Recovery Plan. If there are no obstacles, we will probably extend the operation hours till midnight for the month of Ramadan,” he said during the launch of the drive-thru yesterday.
In conjunction with the opening, customers with a purchase of RM30.00 and above will get a free limited-edition Coke glass and a Mat Kool ice cream for the first 1000 customers. Meanwhile, drive-thru purchases of RM30.00 and above will get free cheesy wedges (while stocks last).
Danny Tan also spoke on the implementation of standard operating procedure (SOP) in line with the requirements set by the National Security Council and the Ministry of Health.
“We are very strict with the set SOP as we want all customers to arrive happily and return safely.
“This is also the 7th branch under the Perak Division Branch Manager, Chew Hoe Seng. There might be another branch launching in the near future.
“Marrybrown is currently celebrating its 40th anniversary. It is the largest halal fast food chain in Malaysia and is also listed in the Malaysia Book of Records,” he added.
