The initiative of AEON Midtown Falim to spice up the Chinese New Year celebration with various festival-themed attractions at the shopping centre received praise as it strengthens relationships among the people.
According to her, it can expose and educate the young generation visiting the mall on the uniqueness of the Chinese New Year celebration.
“AEON proves that retailers are not only responsible for providing daily necessities but also to be more creative.
“They can play a role in helping to boost domestic tourism activities via promotional programmes like this,” she said in her speech at the promotional event at AEON Midtown Falim recently.
Present were Senior Manager of AEON Midtown Falim (Project Division), Tan Yee Lean and Chairperson of KRT Taman Rasi Jaya, Lee Kam Wah.
According to Nolee, since the pandemic, all the festivals are celebrated with more care following the new norm and SOPs for the wellbeing of all.
However, she said, one can still celebrate moderately.
“Virtually or physically, we can still connect to strengthen camaraderie with family and friends.
“Thus, such an initiative plays a role in ensuring the continuous growth of the retail and tourism industries to generate the economy especially in the state,” she added.
