The Park@Perak application is now fully in its digitised phase to strengthen the system of operation and payment of parking charges.
Mayor, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin @ Md Daud stated that the application has been updated with the latest version (Ver 3.0.0) which features new functions such as daily pass, monthly pass and status check for vehicle stickers among others.
“In line with the vision to implement full digitisation, physical coupons will no longer be sold to sales agents effective 1 June 2022. The existing physical coupons can still be sold to the public and be used only until 31 December 2023.
“Members of the public are encouraged to download the Park@Perak application as preparation to adapt to the digital medium as the parking payment will be implemented fully via Park@Perak beginning 2024.
“A discount of 50% is also offered for traffic compounds for payments via the Park@Perak application till 31 May 2022,” he said during the Ipoh City Council’s (MBI) full board meeting for the month of March recently at the MBI meeting hall.
