Today marked the final day of service for Dato’ Dr. Ding Lay Ming after serving for 34 years and 6 months in public service and then 4 years as the Perak State Health Director.
A duty handover ceremony for the post was held at Dataran D’Mesra of the State Health Department recently.
“I express gratitude to all staff members of the State Health Department for their cooperation and support throughout the four years.
“Utmost appreciation to the Ministry of Health and state government for their trust and support,” she said via the official Facebook page of the State Health Department.
Perak State Health Deputy Director (Public Health), Dr. Ummi Kalthom Shamsudin, took over the duty.
Dr Ding also thanked all members of the Perak media: “We have collaborated well in facing the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic which enabled us to now move into the transition to the endemic phase with confidence.”
