The construction of public sewerage maintenance pipes which have been abandoned for two years in Taman Sri Perkasa is completed after a follow-up action.
Proactive steps were taken by the contractor, Pintas Utama Sdn. Bhd to resolve the issue.
Gopeng Parliamentary MCA coordinator, Cally Ting said her party was thankful for the immediate action to ease the woes of residents.
She said the result shows that the complaints raised by the residents are taken into consideration, especially regarding safety concerns and the problem was fixed in less than a week after the complaint was made.
“Thank you Pintas Utama for the prompt action and resurfacing of the roads that posed a hazard to road users,” she said.
Cally highlighted that her team will monitor and survey the Gopeng Parliamentary constituency to ensure that the infrastructure contractors involved carry out the maintenance work.
