Agenda Nasional Malaysia Sihat Tour (ANMS) @ Ipoh
The Agenda Nasional Malaysia Sihat (ANMS) is a government plan which promotes the culture of healthy living for the benefit of all Malaysians.
The state-level ANMS Tour will unfold from July 16 to 17 at the Sultan Azlan Shah Roundabout in Bandar Meru Raya, Ipoh with various activities for the public.
It is organised by the Ministry of Health via the State Health Department.
The fun itinerary comprises fun walk, aerobic session, aerobic- ton, health screening, PEKA B40 screening, dental check, interactive display, exhibition, cooking demonstration and multiple competitions.
One of the highlights is the aerobic-ton to be held on July 17 at 4pm where the 5 best participants will win cash prizes worth RM500.
Using a whole-of-nation approach, ANMS involves collaboration between the government agencies with private sector, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and more, to ensure a comprehensive implementation.
Overall, the ANMS aims to promote healthy living culture to improve health well-being; provide an environment that supports well-being and health; empower individuals and communities in self-health control; and strengthen collaboration among stakeholders to achieve health well-being.
