Tambun MP Helps to Move Stroke Victim with Free Ambulance Service

The Head of the Serikandi BERSATU in Lumut, Norhaslinda Zakaria, extended help to a married couple facing difficulties.

The woman was taking care of her husband who was bedridden at Sri Manjung Hospital (HSM) for the past nine days and needed an ambulance after being discharged from the hospital.

According to Norhaslinda, the woman’s husband, who works as a security guard in a private company, suffered a stroke and the couple lives in Seri Iskandar.

Noorazean Dahalan, the wife of a patient named Shaiful Marzuki Omar, faced difficulties because she could not afford a paid ambulance service, costing RM600, to send them to her in-laws’ house in Ipoh.

“Her husband was only allowed to leave the hospital, but they still had to provide their own ambulance.

“Given that half his body was paralyzed, it was not suitable for him to ride in a car as the risk is very high,” said Norhaslinda when contacted by Ipoh Echo.

After asking for the address of her in-law’s house in Chepor, Noorhaslinda immediately contacted the Tambun Member of Parliament’s Special Officer, Puan Za Zaaba.

“Thank goodness, we had a very quick response and the application for an ambulance service to take this patient was approved without being charged any fee.

“Thank you to the Honorable Tambun Member of Parliament, Dato’ Seri Ahmad Faizal Dato Azumu, for providing an ambulance service for these less fortunate people,” she said.

Noorhaslinda said that even though she did not know Azian and only dealt with her over the phone, she felt very grateful when the housewife’s affairs were made easier.

In fact, she also waited for the arrival of the ambulance from Ipoh to Seri Manjung Hospital.

In the meantime, anyone who is generous to help this couple can donate through the bank account number listed.
